Have you ever had an UN-IDEA?
A very personal and candid effort to describe the un-idea about un-ideas.
This is somehow the natural follow up of the past few issues of this newsletter.
I think this the shortest issue I’ve ever posted and the one that took longer to be put together.
Is it just me? Let me check…
Among all of the things I’ve read , these are the main 3 that “ringed a bell”. I don’t go deeper that this and I leave you with just “hints”.
Nevertheless we live and breathe in the real world. Even if we love to indulge in the realm of thoughts, we need to “make it real”.
C’mon, Mauro, throw me a bone
So, I tried to put down in words and drawings how I deal with the un-ideas.
Do you have/had un-idea?
Ok, this is what I had to share for this time.
Next month we’ll work on an un-idea. I mean, the next month I’ll work on an un-idea and I’ll share what happened. Unless, something better comes up.
As those successful YouTubers always say: LIKE and SUBSCRIBE (It feels so weird to say this😂)
Until next time, F**K PRESSURE, F**K STRESS, give yourself permission and enjoy flying with your un-ideas.
You TRULY deserve it, I’m convinced.
See you next month.
Mauro
PS: a kind of Colophon
Just a few words about where you can find some of the things I do/did:
This happens to me all the time. Sometimes the idea is just a feeling of something. A direction. A concept. An issue. A solution. When this happens I do one of two things - i start to sketch - with not purpose or intent - just getting the feeling into a shape or connection. Or I walk. Usually to the art gallery next door to work and just try to capture the feeling. Or I walk in the garden or sit in a bar with coffee with pen and paper. Then an image appears. A connection and the idea starts to form.
Love this post Mauro!
I had a thoughtful comment to make... but it escaped!
